Privacy notice

What data we collect, what we use it for, and how you can exercise your rights.

1. Data controller

The National Chamber of the Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology Industry (CANIETI) is the controller responsible for the processing of personal data collected through this platform.

2. Personal data collected

Depending on the form you use, we collect:

  • Identification data: full name and job title.
  • Contact data: email address and, optionally, telephone number.
  • Employment data: organization, type of organization, sector and region.
  • Information about the challenge or capability you choose to share.

No sensitive personal data is collected. No financial, banking or official identification information is requested.

3. Purposes of processing

Primary purposes, necessary for the relationship:

  • Receiving, classifying and following up on registered challenges and capabilities.
  • Identifying possible connections between ecosystem stakeholders.
  • Contacting you regarding the request you submitted.
  • Generating aggregated and de-identified statistics on ecosystem activity.

Secondary purposes, which you may decline without affecting your request:

  • Inviting you to open innovation calls, programs and activities.
  • Publishing a summarized and anonymized version of your challenge or capability, only if you expressly authorized it in the form.

4. Transfers

Your data may be shared with ecosystem organizations for the purpose of exploring a connection, only when you have expressly authorized it through the corresponding checkbox. Personal data is not sold, rented or transferred to third parties for commercial purposes.

5. ARCO rights

You may request access, rectification, cancellation or objection to the processing of your personal data, as well as revoke any consent given, by submitting a request to the data controller.

6. Data retention

Data will be retained for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described and the applicable legal timeframes.

7. Cookies and tracking technologies

This platform does not use tracking, advertising or third-party analytics cookies. No persistent identifiers are installed in your browser. If a measurement tool is added in the future, your prior consent will be requested and this notice will be updated.

8. Security

Reasonable administrative, technical and physical measures are applied to protect data against loss, misuse, alteration or unauthorized access. The site is served over an encrypted connection.

9. Changes to this notice

Any changes will be published on this same page, indicating the date of the last update.
